Day of Your Interview

Welcome! We look forward to meeting you.

Candidates for the Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Program usually arrive at Logan International Airport the evening prior to their visit.

Take a taxi or a shuttle service to the Best Western Boston’s Inn at Longwood Medical, where there will be a reservation in your name. (Children’s Hospital Boston pays the room charge and tax for a one-night stay.) The hotel is within a block of the hospital.

The next morning, you will begin your visit by attending the morning conference in the Wittenborg conference room (Main 2) at 7:45. During the course of the day, you will have half-hour interviews with faculty who serve on the Fellowship Selection Committee and eat lunch with the current fellows. In between your interviews, you will spend time observing radiologists in some of our divisions—CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic Radiography (plain films and fluoroscopy).

Your day will be finished by 4:00 p.m., leaving you ample time to return to the airport for an evening flight.

For more information, please contact Kate Taylor, coordinator of the Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Program.

If you are a candidate for a fellowship in nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, or neuroradiology, your visit will be arranged through those programs.
